Safety Scavenger Hunt

To test team members on their safety knowledge, it's fun to host an "emergency" scavenger hunt. Put a colored tag on each emergency station. In teams corresponding to the colored tags (e.g. have a blue team, red team, yellow team, etc. Blue team finds all of the blue tags, red, the red tags, etc.). Ask employees to find all of the tags. Make up questions to go with the emergency locations. For instance, your clue for the fire extinguisher can read, "I put hot stuff out" or "If roses are red, and covered with soot, reach for me and the fire's kaput!"

You'll have more emergency locations to cover, but here is a start.
Emergency exits
fire extinguishers
fire alarms
first-aid kits
eye-wash stations
CPR or choking instruction posters
Emergency shut-off valves.
