International Volunteer Week

Studies show residents are looking to volunteer and need YOU to provide the opportunity. Put together a list of volunteer opportunities in your area and publish it in your newsletter.

Most charity organizations, the Red Cross, United Way, Local Shelters, will have ideas on how you can help. Or, get a group of residents together for a community cleanup! Have a Paint A Can Contest and paint 50-gallon garbage drums. These unique garbage cans can be used throughout your community or donated to a local park.

Ask the kids in your community to help you clean up the playground area.
