Clue Into Buying Signals

Buying signals (obviously) are signs or indications from prospects that they are getting closer to leasing an apartment. It's so important to stay aware of any and all buying signals because they mean you are on the right path to making the sale. You just need to clue in to which direction the prospect is going.

SAMPLE BUYING SIGNALS
-When the prospect repeats a question you've already answered.
-How much is the deposit?
-Which apartment like this do you have available?
-Can I move in during the week?

-When they start to weigh the risks and try to minimize any error.
-Is the deposit refundable?
-You�ll hold the apartment for 24 hours with no deposit, right?

-When they mention how happy someone they know is at your apartment community.
-Yes, Joe says he likes the pool the best.
-Joe says you unclogged his disposal right away. He liked that a lot.

-They weigh the pros and cons of your community with their current community.
-Your pool is bigger.
-You have more closet space.

Once you tune into buying signals, keep asking parallel questions (So a big pool is important to you? Me too.) or reinforcing the buying signal (I'm so glad you noticed, we DO have the biggest pool in town.).

The more you complement the buying signals, the more sales you'll close!
