Promote Ownership For Teams

Chipotle Grill has team member t-shirts saying,
“I made the guacamole”
“I made the salsa”
and “I made the tortillas.”

Wow! Great way to:
1) make team members accountable for their performances (e.g. if the guacamole is bland... everyone in the restaurant knows who made it so blah)

2) instill a sense of pride in each team member. Knowing he/she is responsible for a very specific piece of the business ensures that piece is done well. (Or else it’s easy to start pointing fingers.)

So... how can you take this idea of ownership for pieces of the whole and apply this to Property Management?

Stickers... buttons... t-shirts... team motivation posters ... all do the trick.
